Ortnit is an impressive Dungeon Synth album (or Medieval Ambient for purists). With its very epic and sometimes martial Dungeon Synth, the project is nevertheless capable of distilling touches of softness flirting with "Comfy Synth".
Composed by Thomas Helm (Empyrium) this first album isn't a first attempt either : the experienced musician once again demonstrates his already known talent.
The album relates the life of the Germanic hero Ortnit, and is a real ode to ancient legends. With its superb illustrations by Sperber (Lunar Aurora, Grab, Trist, Bald Anders), it is a real Christmas album!
